SERVER

OakTree provides a broad set of Standard Services for each equipment type. These Standard Services are the most common and critical operations that need to be performed regularly and are included in the fixed-rate service cost per device. Additional/Optional Services, those needing to be done on an infrequent or as needed basis, are available at your request and billed on an hourly basis.

Standard Services

• Review Windows System Event logs for correctable warnings and errors
• Review Windows Application Event logs for correctable warnings and errors
• Review Windows Security Event logs for correctable warnings and errors
• Examine Windows Device Manager for potential device problems
• Exam machine heuristics (e.g. resource usage, available disk space, memory, etc.) for potential problems
• Run Windows Scheduled Tasks for basic machine maintenance (e.g. disk de-fragmentation, disk cleanup for temporary files, old log files, etc.)
• Apply new anti-virus signature file updates
• Apply new Windows critical updates, service packs and device drivers from Microsoft Windows Update service
• Apply new operating system patches and hot fixes
• Review basic application server logs for potential application problems
• Apply new application patches and hot fixes
• Maintain Server Hardware and Software Configuration Reports

• Special software installations and configurations
• Hardware upgrade installations and configurations
• Maintain advances Exchange Server settings and mailbox configurations
• Review Exchange Server logs, apply Exchange patches and hot fixes, etc.
• Review database server logs for potential problems, apply patches and hot fixes, etc.
• Review firewall logs for potential problems, maintain security settings, apply patches, etc.
• Review Web server logs for potential problems, apply patches and hot fixes, etc.
• Review other server logs for potential problems, apply patches for other applications, etc.
